The Stover Mill Gallery Presents "Dancing With Color"

The Stover Mill Gallery at 852 River Road, Erwinna, presents "Dancing With Color and Mystery," an exhibit spotlighting the works of artist Janine Dunn Wade on Saturday and Sunday (Aug. 3-4, 10-11, 17-18 and 24-25) from 1-5 p.m. Admission is free. An opening reception takes place on Saturday, August 3 from 1 to 5 p.m.

"Dancing with Color and Mystery" showcases works that vibrate with lyrical movement, celebrate color, and dance on the joyful edge between realism and abstraction. The intention is to see shapes of color in space and arrange them into something visually exciting with an element of mystery. The show is a retrospective spanning 30 years of painting. It follows the direction the artist has taken from traditional pieces in pastel to more abstract work in oil and mixed media.

Dunn Wade graduated first in her class from Villanova University with a BFA, and studied abroad in Paris, Italy, and Mexico. She has exhibited widely including in New York, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Washington, and Michigan. She has received awards from the American Impressionist Society, the Philadelphia Sketch Club, and Phillips Mill (Including the Patrons Award for painting) among others.
