New Circus Performance Arrives At Snipes Farm

MORRISVILLE, PA —The circus is coming to town. And it's the only stop for this circus in Pennsylvania.

Snipes Farm and Education Center will host its first show on Thursday night with four more shows planned through Sunday.

The Brooklyn-based Hideaway Circus’s “Canvas Sky” performance is family-friendly entertainment at its best at the center at 890 W. Bridge St.

Ten world-class performers will blend storytelling with lively circus acts like juggling, acrobatics, aerial stunts, dance, and side-splitting physical comedy —all underscored by original music.

Come follow the story of a circus troupe where one clown struggles to ‘fit in’ and find his voice. Luckily, he gets a little help from a friend who’s already figured out what makes her an amazing circus performer.

This is a new kind of American circus performance (no animals or big tent) that is making a whirlwind tour of 60 towns in 22 states.

But this will be the only performance in Pennsylvania, organizers said.

The five shows are:

• Thursday, Aug. 15, 7:30-9:30 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 16, 7:30-9:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Aug. 17, 4-6 p.m.
• Saturday, Aug. 17, 7:30-9:30 p.m.
