Arduino "Jay" Sabetta Jr., 83, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at RI Hospital, Providence.

Arduino “Jay” Sabetta Jr., 83, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at RI Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (DelMonaco) Sabetta.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arduino Sr. and Anna (Santangelo) Sabetta. Mr. Sabetta was an auditor supervisor with the US Department of Defense for many years until his retirement in 1994. He was also an Air Force Korean War veteran.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving sons, Stephen Sabetta and his wife Sandra of Cranston and David Sabetta and his wife Karin of Johnston. He was also the cherished grandfather of Nicole, Matthew, Nicholas and David.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday 5-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers.
