South Kingstown Woman Gets 7-Year Prison Sentence For Killing Man In DUI Crash

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A South Kingstown woman was sentenced to seven years in prison on Monday after admitting she killed a man during a drunken driving crash in 2020.

Cara Kenyon, 33, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence with death resulting.

The crash killed Alan Albergaria, 54, of South Kingstown, who was walking near the 500th block of Middlebridge Road.

In addition to Kenyon's seven-year prison sentence, she must serve eight years of probation following her release.
