Produced by the Wickford Art Association since 1962, we invite you to come and discover the Wickford Art Festival! Located at Wilson Park, the Wickford Art Festival carries on it’s long history and reputation for featuring some of the top fine artists from across the country, but also hosting many of the well known and beloved New England and local Rhode Island artists widely admired by art enthusiasts. From 9am-4pm meet 200 artists showcasing their fine art in a variety of mediums including: ceramics, wood, wearable and decorative fiber, furniture, fine jewelry, drawing, etching, glass, mixed media, painting (watercolors, oil, gouache, acrylic), photography, printmaking, pyrography, and sculptures. Stop by the Wickford Art Association information booth to purchase one of a kind festival apparel or enter to win a piece of art while supporting the scholarship raffle. Enjoy some of Rhode Island’s best food trucks or a famous Del’s Lemonade. Admission is always free and as an added bonus to fine art collectors, Rhode Island does not collect sales tax on fine art sales! Parking is available for a suggested $10 donation at Wilson Park, plus a complimentary shuttle provided by NK Rotary from Wickford Middle School &amp; First Church of Science. 
Historic Wickford just a ¼ mile walk from Wilson Park is set on beautiful Narragansett Bay and the village comes alive for this annual event. Make sure to stroll down and enjoy the beloved strawberry shortcakes on the lawn of First Baptist Church on Main Street! With beautiful views, gorgeous historic homes, dozens of quality shops and a variety of restaurants, artists and attendees come to experience this one of a kind festival year after year.

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join exhibiting artists David Barnes, Tom Deininger and Bradley Wester for a lively conversation. For over ten years, these three artists, living and/or working in Bristol, RI, have been in deep conversation about their work, the work of other artists, poetry, criticism, the art world, and politics.
They share that rare space between artists, each allowed to test ideas on the other without fear of reprisal… well sometimes! But that’s just it—this is a years-long conversation based on trust and honesty. Each demands of the other their highest standards and integrity. Before Wester’s arrival from New York, Barnes and Deininger had been in conversation for decades prior. Surprisingly, PIVOT is also the first time that all three artists have exhibited together.

Rebekah Cook Art and Paint Your Own Pottery Studio

It's time! Summer is just around the corner and that means it's time 
to start signing up your kids for Summer Camp. There's surely a ton of 
different options to choose from, but there's one that stands out from 
all the rest: Art Camp. At the end of this week of art-filled-fun your 
child will come home with a wide variety of art projects, from a 
recreation of a Master's painting, to pastels and water color, and even 
tie-dye, the possibilities are endless. Your kid is sure to have a blast
 (and learn a bit about the history of art while they're with us).
📅 Art camps will be running for 3 weeks in July, each week is 
9am-2pm*, Monday through Friday. For more information on dates, costs, 
and to sign up your child, follow the link in our first comment, hope to
 see your kid there!
📍 Camp will be held in the upstairs studio at 344 Main St Unit 103, Wakefield, RI 02879.
Spaces are limited so make sure to hop on this sooner then later.
*This year we're offering (for the first time) an extended day to 
help give you more time to pick up your kiddos! This will be an extra 2 
hour session after the camp day that will include a ton of activities 
outside of art such as movies, games, and more.
