Franklin Weather Forecast: Storms And Then A Much Cooler Weekend
Franklin will experience a touch of winter temperatures after Friday's severe storms.

FRANKLIN, TN — A warm week comes to an end with thunderstorms and then a much cooler turn, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Franklin. Highs will drop back into the 40s Saturday with overnight lows below freezing with the warm-up beginning Sunday. Friday night: An 80 percent chance of strong to severe thunderstorms, mainly before midnight, then cooler with a low around 40. South winds of 10 to 15 mph could gust up to 20 mph and will begin coming out of the north after the storms.
Saturday: Mostly sunny and much cooler, a high of 47. Winds of 10 to 15 mph gusting to 20 mph. Mostly clear and cold in the evening, with a low of 28.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and a bit warmer, high of 55. Mostly cloudy overnight, with a 40 percent chance of showers after midnight, low of 41. Winds of 5 to 15 mph gusting to 20 mph.
