STERLING, VA — Four armed robbers broke into a home in Sterling and threatened the resident on Wednesday night, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.

Authorities did not say whether the occupant was injured during the home invasion. Police officials also did not specify whether any items were stolen.

No arrests have been made in connection with the robbery, and authorities have not publicly identified any suspects.

One suspect was wearing a black vest, grey sweatshirt, a black hat, and dark pants. Another suspect was wearing wearing a dark jacket, white sweatshirt, black pants, red hat, and a blue surgical mask. The two remaining suspects were wearing dark clothing, authorities said.

The robbery occurred around 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday at a home in the 22100 block of Glenn Drive in Sterling. The victim said four men entered the home, threatened them with a weapon, and forced their way into several rooms.

After the robbery, the suspects ran out of the area, police officials said.
