Chesterbrook Academy® Preschooler Donate to Local Homeless Shelter

Students held a supply drive to collect nonperishable food items and winter accessories to benefit the organization

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Aldie recently donated more than 100 winter accessories and packaged food items to Loudoun Homeless Services Center, a local shelter open to residents of Loudoun County that offers tailored programs to help with short-term needs, as well as lower the risk of future homelessness. Over the past two weeks, students held a supply drive to collect a variety of nonperishable food items as well as hats, gloves and jackets for delivery to the organization.

In addition to the supply drive, students also collected 65 brand-new toys for Toys for Tots. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.
