The 7th annual revolving event, this time at Dominion High School, offers workshops for those looking to buy a home or rent an apartment.

STERLING, VA — Especially if you're new to the D.C. area, trying to figure out where to buy a home or rent an apartment can be quite the daunting task. So many choices. So many prices. So many questions.

But here's a pretty cool way to sort things out in a comprehensive instructive setting.

It's the 7th Annual Northern Virginia Housing Expo, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 18 at Dominion High School, 21326 Augusta Drive.

The free event features dozens of exhibits and workshops about renting an apartment or buying a home.

Also available will be free one-on-one credit counseling services.

There will be free shuttle service on the half hour between the Spring Hill Metro station and Dominion High from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The last shuttle returns to Spring Hill at 3:30 p.m. after the expo ends.
