FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police were on the scene around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, investigating an attempted abduction of an adult in the area of 10200 Main Street.

The victim was treated for injuries by medics on the scene and remains in the hospital Friday morning in stable condition, according to a CFPD spokesman.

K-9 units and a police helicopter were deployed to search for the suspect who was seen wearing a white striped shirt, according to police. He was last seen on foot in the woods near 10200 Main Street. The victim and suspect did not know each other.
