Cat Adoption Event Planned Saturday In Fairfax City
Ready to add a four-legged feline to your family? Fairfax City's Animal Control division will host an adoption event at Pet Supplies Plus.
FAIRFAX CITY, VA — The City of Fairfax's animal control division will host an adoption event Saturday where several cats will be waiting for their forever home. The event is planned from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pet Supplies Plus, 11054 Lee Hwy.
Adoption events are held at Pet Supplies Plus on the third Saturday of every month, according to the City of Fairfax. Cats available for adoption include 1-year-old Saint, who loves to be where people are, and 14-week-old Betty, who was found as a stray but is described as playful and loving.
If you're unable to attend the event, animals up for adoption can be seen on the city's website. Anyone interested in adopting may also visit the Town and Country Animal Hospital, 9836 Fairfax Blvd. Viewing hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
