First Day Of School 2024: Share Your Photos From Manassas

MANASSAS, VA — Students headed back to school for the first day Monday in the City of Manassas, which means it's time to share your first day photos.

Manassas City Public Schools is starting the school year before many other regional school districts, while neighboring Prince William County Public Schools start on Monday, Aug. 19. This year, the school district says all schools are providing breakfast and lunch with no direct cost to families through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.

Whether your child is attending school for the first time or returning in a new grade, we want to see your first day photos. Send your photos to [email protected] and share your student's first name, grade and school. Feel free to add a comparison photo from a younger grade so we can see how your student has grown up.
