Part-Time Office Assistant - $30/hr

Small consulting firm looking to hire PT Office Assistant. 

Qualifications:

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter that can grasp task fundamentals quickly and is able to work autonomously
  • Ability to organize workload by priorities
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, experience with Microsoft Teams a plus
  • Ability to do first-level tech support (minor troubleshooting hardware/software)
  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness to adapt to changing tasks and requests
  • Willingness to learn and understand nature of the business
  • Experience with marketing/communication a plus
  • Personality: perceptive, reliable, patient, flexible, easy-going and upbeat

Responsibilities:

  • Assist President with general office duties that include filing, printing, ordering supplies, providing general office assistance
  • Assist with personal organization of office. Design/set up closet organization.
  • Assist with managing professional schedule and personal appointments.
  • Support business objectives by assisting in data gathering and management.
  • Prepare reports, draft emails, make and receive phone calls
  • Help prepare for meetings
  • Make travel arrangements and be responsible for all logistics
  • Updating and maintain contact database
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Willing to take on special projects as needed
  • Assist with personal and business tasks that include making appointments, scheduling vendor appointments, making personal travel arrangements and managing travel reward programs.

The President is looking for someone local to support in day-to-day office administration and personal office coordination. This is a flexible hourly position for three to four days a week of your choice with a mix of remote and on-site assistance. The ideal candidate would have office experience, be a strong customer service advocate, be reliable, patient, flexible, and willing to understand the business they are supporting.
