The Alexandrian, notable luxury lifestyle hotel in the center of Old Town Alexandria is thrilled to welcome acclaimed Executive Chef, Peter McCall to the Jackson 20 kitchen. Chef Peter is diving into his role by introducing new sophisticated flavors inspired by his time working at some of the top Michelin starred restaurants in the world, including Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, The River Café and Chez Bruce in London. Chef Peter’s focus will be to highlight seasonal ingredients and prioritize locally farmed products. The new menu will showcase the bounty of the Mid-Atlantic and Shenandoah Valley regions through Chef Peter’s interpretations of classic southern dishes, as well as a few favorites from his travels abroad.

“I’m very excited to join the team at Jackson 20,” said Executive Chef Peter McCall. “I’m looking forward to bringing my style of cooking to the lively food scene in Alexandria and to take advantage of the fresh produce that Virginia is known for.”

A Nashville native, Chef Peter has a passion towards simple, yet innovative, Southern style cooking. With his formal training at L’Academie de Cuisine in Gaithersburg, Maryland and experience working in various Omni Hotel kitchens, Chef Peter hopes to continue to push the boundaries of a hotel restaurant and exceed expectations for guests and the local community. The revamped menu will feature brunch dishes including Bourbon Caramel French Toast with Candied Pecans and Bananas; Autumn Olive Farms Pork Chilaquiles and Chef’s signature White Lily Biscuits with Apple Butter.
