Top rated restaurant; NASIME offering "to go" meals & ARP as well as others doing everything they can to help their employees
What a week .... I live in Old Town, Alexandria and I LOVE so many of the fantastic restaurants. Not only the food but the servers, the chefs and the patrons. The time is now to ensure we comply with social distancing and it is sad to see so many of my favorite dining spots going through these challenging financial times. On some sort of bright note, one of my favorite restaurants is Nasime, located at 1209 King Street. Chef has pivoted from his 5 course sit down dinner to now offering "to go" lunch and dinner. I have always wanted them to open for lunch, a nice rice bowl or maybe some udon noodle soup. The time is now to show community support and order your "to go" lunch and dinner. Today was a real treat as I had pork tatusta age w/miso-mozzarella sauce rice bowl for lunch and Oregan truffle chicken ramen noodle soup for dinner. They both hit the 10 out of 10 mark! DELICIOUS! Hopefully one day soon everything will be back to normal and I know we all want to ensure that our favorite spots are still around. Time is now; order a "to go" meal from one of your favorite spots and buy some gift cards....when this is over we will all need some good meals and a lot of drinks!
