First Snow Of 2020: A Day In Photos From Vienna
Vienna readers submitted photos of snow from their windows...and the snowmen made from the light accumulation.
The first snow of 2020 didn't arrive without chaos as early dismissals spurred traffic jams around the area. But once you were off the roads and warming up in your home, you could simply enjoy the view of the snow falling.
Preliminary snowfall measurements from the National Weather Service indicate one area of Vienna got 1.4 inches, which was in the mid-range for Northern Virginia towns. Nevertheless, the snow presented picture-perfect photo opps around Vienna. That's why we asked Patch readers to send photos of how the snow looks outside their windows.
