I-95 Lane Change Collision With Tractor-Trailer Prompts Citation

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — A collision with a tractor-trailer led to a charge for a pickup truck driver on Interstate 95 in Prince William County Wednesday, according to Virginia State Police.

The crash happened on northbound I-95 at the 150-mile marker, which is at the Route 619 exit for Triangle/Quantico and Prince William Forest Park. Around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, a Ford F-150 was driving in the center lane when it drifted to the right and struck a tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer continued driving, while the F-150 remained on scene, state police say.

The driver from Triangle was cited for making an unsafe lane change. The driver was not injured.
