Single-Vehicle Crash Kills Driver In Dale City: Police

A vehicle overturned in a crash early Friday in Dale City, killing the only occupant.

DALE CITY, VA — A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash in which his vehicle overturned early Friday in Dale City, Prince William County Police say.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Redwing Drive and Swallow Court. Police say a 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo heading north on Redwing Drive was traveling at a high speed when the driver lost control. The vehicle left the road and entered a ravine, which caused the car to flip over.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead by fire and rescue personnel. He was identified as Donnell Tyquan Epps, 33, of Woodbridge. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
