Pedestrian Killed In Crash On Richmond Highway In Woodbridge: Police

Prince William County Police say the driver remained on scene of a fatal pedestrian crash Sunday night.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A pedestrian died in a crash late Sunday in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.

The crash happened in the area of Richmond Highway and Rosedale Court around 10:08 p.m. Sunday. Police say a 2016 Honda CRV heading south on Richmond Highway struck a pedestrian trying to cross the road outside the crosswalk.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as Francisco Rafael Campos Henriquez, 55, of Woodbridge.

The driver, a 59-year-old man from Woodbridge, remained on scene and was not injured. Police do not believe drugs, alcohol or speed were factors in the crash for the driver.
