Woodbridge Motorcyclist Killed In Fairfax County Crash, Other Vehicle May Be Involved

Fairfax County Police are investigating if another vehicle had been involved in the crash that killed a motorcyclist.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — A motorcyclist from Woodbridge was killed in a crash in Fairfax County Sunday, according to police.

The crash happened around 5:18 a.m. Sunday on Rolling Road near Delong Drive in Newington. Fairfax County Police say a 2003 Honda 1300 motorcycle crashed. Cornell Parish III, 32, of Woodbridge was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

Police are investigating if a BMW sedan was involved in the crash based on evidence from the scene. It is unclear if alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.

This is Fairfax County's 12th traffic fatality in 2024. At this point in 2023, the county had six traffic fatalities.
