Humid Weekend Ahead, With Heat Index Near 100 Sunday: WI Weather

MILWAUKEE — Wisconsin residents can expect heat indices to rise into the 90s from Saturday through Monday as a warm and humid air mass moves into the region. Sunday's heat index is forecasted near 100 degrees.

Meanwhile, "with the arrival of the warm air mass will also come multiple rounds and chances for thunderstorms across southern Wisconsin," the National Weather Service notes. "We'll have a chance at some isolated storms today, but the more widespread chance will be Saturday into Tuesday which is also when some strong to severe storms will be possible as well."
