Wet, Sloppy Snow Forecast For Southern Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI— The warmer weather was nice while it lasted. Wisconsinites will be dealing with a second winter. The National Weather Service is forecasting a messy commute on Monday for drivers in Southern Wisconsin.

The forecast is:

Monday

• A chance of snow before 1 p.m., then rain and snow. High near 34.
• Breezy, with an east wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
• Total daytime snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Monday night

• Rain, snow, and freezing rain, becoming all freezing rain after 10 p.m.
• Low around 28. East wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
• New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible.
• New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
