WAUKESHA, WI β€” A lieutenant with the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office pleaded guilty on Friday to accusations of providing marijuana and a cell phone to an inmate of the local jail.

Johanna Grace, 34, is set to be sentenced on Oct. 9 in U.S. Court.

While a lieutenant, Grace coordinated with "associates" outside the Waukesha County Jail to bring contraband inside the facility, authorities said.

When she realized her crime would be discovered, Grace shared internal law enforcement reports with those same associates, according to prosecutors.

Under her plea deal, Grace acknowledged that she obstructed justice and now faces a statutory up to five years in prison.
