Hello everyone!
I am an experienced professional teacher currently living and working in South Korea. I have been tutoring students ever since attending university, so with my experience you will definitely reach your Korean language learning goals!
My teaching philosophy is that every student is unique, and that each lesson should cater to that individuality! Whether you are a total beginner or an advanced student, I can come up with a learning plan to help you meet your goals.
I am interested in a wide variety of topics, from Korean music and literature to current world events. I would be happy to take your interests and incorporate them into each lesson in a fun way!

Incredible and amazing teacher! She puts so much care into your lessons and ensures a specific training plan that suits your needs. You won’t find tailored tutoring like this elsewhere! Learning a new language is more than just memorizing grammar and vocabulary. I’ll help you to build a strong conceptual understanding of what makes Korean unique, both linguistically and culturally. This will provide interest and energy as we go the the first steps of learning Korean.

As a working elementary school teacher I have a strong academic and work background educating children. I can help educate your child not only in the Korean language, but also using curriculum developed for Korean students.
Curious about specific differences in grammar or expressions? Looking to deeply study Korean? Preparing for the TOPIK? I can help guide you through intensive language preparation and study.
I have worked in an office environment in school and was in charge of coordinating various events. I know how to formally communicate with business partners in a productive and appropriate manner. I also have helped non-Koreans negotiate minor cultural differences in these environments.
Reading is my primary hobby! I have been reading many books, both Western and Korean, since I was young. We can read and discuss contemporary Korean books, or I can guide you through some of the more famous academic works you might want to explore.
I worked as a tutor for 4 years preparing Korean high school students for the Korean SATs. These SATs are famously hard, but I am well trained and experienced in preparing students to succeed in them. These studies will not be easy, but my training and experience can provide you with the specific help you need to get the grade you’re looking for.
