Wes Berg OT goal carries California Redwoods past Philadelphia Waterdogs

Wes Berg scored the winning goal in overtime as the California Redwoods edged the Philadelphia Waterdogs 13-12 on Friday night.

Berg's decisive goal came after a back-and-forth contest that saw both teams trading leads throughout regulation. Ryder Garnsey added two goals and an assist for the Redwoods (3-6), and Rob Pannell had three assists, including one on Berg's winner.

In goal, Jack Kelly made 11 saves for California, providing crucial stops down the stretch and in overtime.
