Law leads Outlaws to 10-4 victory over Chaos

Eric Law scored four goals, leading the Denver Outlaws to a 10-4 victory over the Carolina Chaos to close out their homecoming weekend at Peter Barton Stadium on Saturday night.

With the win, the Outlaws salvaged a weekend split (after losing 16-9 to the Whipsnakes on Friday night) and moved into first place in the Western Conference standings at 5-4.

Outlaws midfielder Justin Anderson had a goal and three assists to contribute to the effort, while Brennan O'Neill scored two goals and goaltender Jack McElroy made 12 saves (75 save percentage).

Denver broke a 3-3 deadlock early in the third quarter with five straight goals, and the Chaos never recovered.

Carolina (4-5) was led offensively by Ross Scott and Tye Kurtz, who each contributed a goal and an assist.

Carolina faces Boston in its final regular-season game on Friday night at 10:30 p.m. ET at Zions Bank Stadium, while Denver closes out its season against Utah on Saturday at 9 p.m.
