The outcome of this request for deletion was to Delete. Consensus that these topics do not meet our notability guideline. Vermont (🐿️—🏳️🌈) 05:24, 6 July 2024 (UTC)

[change source]Ferien has nominated this page for deletion for the reason: fails w:WP:NASTRO --Ferien (talk) 21:50, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- On reviewing this further, I've realised there are many more of these articles than I initially expected (79 in total for those counting) and that more explanation should probably be added to this nomination statement. All of the above articles are articles that 1) are mass-created by the now-blocked IP, 47.186.42.50, 2) have no corresponding enwiki article (exc HD 269700 where it is a redirect) and 3) have very few online sources available making these clear failures of w:WP:NASTRO. --Ferien (talk) 22:21, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
Please discuss this request below, but keep in mind that you shouldn't vote on everything and that there may be options other than "keep" or "delete", such as merging.

[change source]- Delete fails w:WP:NASTRO and I don't think all of these stars are important enough to warrant their own articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ternera (talk • contribs) 21:55, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- Delete - that is what i am leaning toward. Wiki-notability has largely not been shown. 2001:2020:345:A57A:CCB8:F39D:CE66:9C82 (talk) 23:12, 28 June 2024 (UTC) / 2001:2020:345:A57A:CCB8:F39D:CE66:9C82 (talk) 23:13, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- Delete all. Nearly all of these have a single source from something along the lines of "list of", "catelog of", etc. None of these show notability per gng or nastro. MrMeAndMrMeTalk 05:21, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Delete We are not the complete guide to all the planets, stars and moons. We are Wikipedia.- FusionSub (Talk page) (Contributions) 05:31, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Delete as not really notable. The fact that the only sources we can find are lists/catalogs is because this is only notable for a list/catalog of space objects. Me Da Wikipedian (talk) 10:50, 30 June 2024 (UTC)

- Delete per nom and everyone above - fails w:WP:NASTRO and WP:GNG. –Davey2010Talk 19:25, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Shouldn’t This be Quick Deleted for Little or no Meaning? Milanjan10 (talk) 07:26, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- These sorts of articles aren't eligible for A1. Even articles just saying "X is a Y" aren't eligible for A1 because they do have some sort of meaning, even if it doesn't go into significant detail. --Ferien2 (talk) 08:54, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Macdonald-ross A4'd one of the pages (HIP 18696) despite A4 not covering places or stars.- FusionSub (Talk page) (Contributions) 10:47, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
