To mark International Women’s Day, we’re kicking off a series of reports investigating women’s health. In our first report, Sarah N. highlights the need to objectively appraise assumptions about women’s health research. She looks at what it really means to say this field is under-researched, and how to assess the true extent of neglect. For our latest #RatingRegus 🔴, we were delighted that our German colleague, Tim Robin Lorenzen (who was travelling from Berlin), could join us at a Spaces location on Oxford Street. Spaces is Regus' brand for creatives, and it was a real change to be in a more relaxed atmosphere and trendy, warehouse-style layout - though we had the usual disagreements among the team on temperature. The team enjoyed a hearty lunch at Yalla Yalla, a Lebanese restaurant next door, indulging in hummus, delicious wraps and tagines. As the saying goes, "A well-fed team is a productive team” 😄.

"Further research is clearly needed, not only into conditions specific to women but also into how men and women experience the same conditions” - Sarah N. Sarah's latest article in International Hospital explores how femtech, policy shifts and a renewed focus on research is pushing women’s health out of the shadows. Big changes are happening - are we ready to close the gap for good? Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eyzsQbiA

“Artificial intelligence is not intelligent […] Productivity is only good when you’re producing good work.” Generative AI tools like ChatGPT and DALL-E have been making headlines for their potential to boost productivity, but AI expert and technology journalist Chris Stokel-Walker doesn't shy away from discussing the issues with these tools - unreliability, a lack of creativity, and bias. In sum - we have to keep an eye on the quality and originality of AI-generated content. While AI is undeniably powerful, it’s not without its flaws. The way we choose to use this technology will shape our success. We need to stay informed, balancing the benefits of AI with its potential pitfalls. Have you thought about creating a customer community? 👥. B2B organisations often lack a systematic approach to customer engagement, typically only reaching out when there’s something to sell. Building a customer community could provide you with regular insights into their priorities and challenges. The best B2B leaders create these communities by facilitating discussions among customers, gathering valuable business intelligence that benefits both the supplier and the customer. Learn how to effectively engage with B2B customers and stay ahead in the market on our dedicated Thursday ThoughtSparks 🎆 page, where you can also sign up to receive the weekly newsletter (https://lnkd.in/eV6cRny9.)

AI can be a useful productivity tool when implemented meaningfully. How are we doing it at ThoughtSpark? Our media monitoring services - with handy AI features such as coverage summaries - help us deliver timely media briefings. It saves us manual work and makes sure we stay on top of client coverage. As AI eliminate more of our menial tasks, we’ll have more time to focus on what really matters: crafting high quality content for our clients. And we don't think AI can do a better job on that front!
