We didn't plan to replace windows or doors this year, but the consultant convinced us to change our mind by presenting really high quality products, at a good price and with a convenient payment plan. The installation service was at the highest level, both the windows and doors to the garden and the front door look great. We highly recommend First Home Improvements!

Right from the start we were impressed and given time to decide whether we wanted to go ahead with our improvement we had a budget in mind, which was adhered to. The gentleman who came to measure showed us lots of alternatives, vents, numbers of opening windows, very well informed and helpful. On the installation day Robert Banks and Mark Whittaker arrived and worked extremely well, explaining to us both at every stage. The installation manager called and checked the job at every possible place. Photos were taken by the installation manager and Mark of all the work. The house was left spotless and they finished within the timescale specified.

I’m submitting this review on behalf of my parents, who were very impressed with Liam and Dan. They were both pleasant and extremely helpful in fitting the new windows, even assisting with moving items my parents couldn’t manage themselves. They are very happy with the work, and Liam and Dan did a great job of cleaning up before they left.

This is the second time I have used this company and the same two chaps, Lewis and Jamal, came to install my replacement bay windows and back door. They made an excellent job of the tricky bay windows, and they even repaired the wall adjacent to the back door which had crumbling render, ensuring everything was water-tight. Marvellous!

The process went very smoothly and all staff encountered were friendly and helpful. I was surprised when only one fitter arrived but he removed the old front door and side panel and fitted the new ones perfectly in only two hours. The installation has a solid and quality feel to it.

This was the worst interaction I have had with a company to day. They felt like sleazy salesmen who did not want to leave my house. The whole initial reaction was 4 hours! What a total waste of time. I was shy of wanting to push them out of the house.
Eventually I went with a local fitter whose experience was overall better.

I'm giving the fitting team 5 stars, as Mark S and Chris C were really professional from start to finish, in very mixed weather!
Obviously, you have to make a mess, but these guys put sheets down, cleaned up as they went, and even vacuumed before they left. Brilliant from the lads.
However, the company itself is a little pushy. We needed new windows, granted, but they literally did everything to make us sign that contract the same day as the estimate. Now, if you have elderly or vulnerable family, be there with them if you do get an estimate. We went to a couple of homes with the signs outside to se if they were happy. Only then did we commit.
We do need a small repair, so we'll see how that goes, then I'll update our review. 4 out of 5 for F1RST 👍

Clear communication at all stages of the process. Great product, the fitters (Michael Jones and Craig Edwards) were brilliant, professional job, cleaned up well (including dust that was already under my bed, legends.) very friendly and good craic.

Customer service was great from the very first contact with Laura who came to explain the product to me. Everyone in the company was friendly, helpful and informative. All my questions were answered fully. The only problem I had was outside of First Home Improvements' control and they dealt with it efficiently so that I never lost confidence in the Company. Owen, the fitter, worked hard, was on time each day and cleared up before leaving each evening, He did a great job and follow-up has been great so far - as I write, I am awaiting two panes of glass to be replaced that were damaged in transit and I have no doubt they will be sorted out within the promised few days. I would have no hesitation in recommending First Home Improvements to neighbours, friends and family. Excellent product and excellent team of people.

Great company explained everything clearly, always on hand if you needed to speak to them. We had 7 windows 2 doors + fence doors fitted in 1 day, big thankyou to Mark Spencer & Chris Cade couldn't ask for 2 nicer lads, they did an amazing job, lovely & friendly, thanks lads. Installation by Chris and Brandon was great. I was working from home and I was able to get on with things without too much noise. They were polite when needing me to ask me something away from my work and were genuinely friendly. They helped sort a few issues with cables interfering with the installation and were very tidy. They showed me how everything works and talked me through it all to make sure I understood. Due to illness in the team (can't be helped), they had to come back a 2nd day and made sure I was available - I didn't feel put out at all.

The company delivered excellent customer service from
beginning to end.We dealt with Cerys in the office who sorted out our initial queries.The surveyor advised us when we realised we would have to to change our door design. The fitters Ian and Rob were a pleasure to have in our home ,they both worked extremely hard fitting all windows and doors in a matter of days. They left everything clean and tidy and we were amazed by how little disruption it caused. The quality of the product is excellent . First class service from the whole team

Just read the 1 star reviews and you'll get the picture. Preditory sales tactics designed to force and manipulate vulnerable people into legal and financial obligation.
I'm currently in the process of submitting my experience to the Trading Standards and Action Fraud. Companies like this shouldn't be trading and I'm certain they aren't operating within our legal frameworks.
Though I don't expect anything to come of my reports, if I can prevent 1 person from being conned by these snake oil charlatans, I'll rest easy tonight.

Made some home improvements with this very aptly named company and I couldn't be happier. The work was carried out very professionally and without any issues. Mark Cottrell and Dek Martin worked very well together and made a cracking job after 2 days, even through the annoying showers that kept interfering. Prior to the installation every other aspect of the contract was expertly delivered from calls, emails, the
initial visit, measuring and the subsequent paperwork. Very happy with the whole process and the quality of the 9 windows and 1 door supplied are superb. Very happy to recommend the company and especially Mark and Dek, many thanks both, you made the upheaval in the process very entertaining. Nicely cleaned up after themselves as well.
