Ryan Chang is a VSPA Program Assistant studying Economics and Data Science at UC Berkeley. During his spare time, he enjoys watching YouTube videos on investments, technology, and watches.
Jester DiCicco is VSPA’s Media Intern and is a fourth yeah studying film here at Berkeley. In their spare time they can be found playing Blood on the Clocktower at the Cal board games club or practicing swing dance.
Vy Ho is a VSPA Program Assistant studying Data Science and Statistics. A rising junior, Vy enjoys baking bread, all things cats, and the occasional Redbull or two. In her spare time, you might find Vy out on a stroll luring neighborhood cats with treats.
Mandy Guan is a VSPA Program Assistant and will be studying Architecture at Berkeley. In her free time, she enjoys the occasional crocheting, watching Korean dramas, and playing badminton.
Simmerdeep Kaur Originally from India, Simmer is a first-year student at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. She is passionate about reporting unconventional yet significant news stories that deserve the world's recognition. She serves as the News Editor at VSPA. Other than being a journalist, she is also a gym and fitness enthusiast.
Vannessa Olague is a VSPA Program Assistant who’s studying Political Science. She enjoys recreational activities like camping, hiking, and snowboarding while also enjoying a nice cup of coffee with a good book on a rainy day.
Canon Stringer is the VSPA Data Intern studying Data Science in his senior year at Berkeley. His passions include playing and writing music, hiking, and all things baseball related.
Choekyi Lhamo, is a third-generation Tibetan refugee from India and second-year student at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. Deeply interested in politics and diaspora, she has continued to cover issues at the nexus of community and power. As an aspiring investigative journalist, she wants to tell impactful stories with radical care. Now, she serves as the News Editor at VSPA. Outside of school and work, she loves to hike different trails and read fiction.
