Principal Director, Defense Pricing, Contracting, and Acquisition Policy
Defense Pricing, Contracting, and Acquisition Policy is responsible for pricing and contracting policy matters across the Department of Defense (DoD). We execute statute, executive order, and policy through the timely update of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) and issuance of memoranda and guidance. We enable operations through business systems and standards.
We empower the DoD contracting and acquisition community with key resources:
Mission: Enable DoD Components, through the Contracting functional community, to effectively and affordably deliver goods and services that meet the needs of the warfighter, ensuring a fair and reasonable business deal; by formulating Federal-and DoD-wide contracting regulations, policies, and strategies; and providing eBusiness capabilities.
