I was dubious about reading this book, it isn't really my genre. However I could not put it down, the story was very close to the bone for me, was like my life flashing before my eyes! Very well written, emotional and true to life in terms of how it really is! Only down side I'd say is the amount of time spent describing their intimate moments could have been maybe brushed over a bit more, but I get where the writer was going with it.. shows the passion and connection. Didn't bother me but restricts who I would recommend the book to knowing they wouldn't enjoy those parts! But all in all an excellent book!
