I had seen this book through out last year as one of the must reads and being on book TikTok didn’t help either so I decided I wanted to read it.
The expectations going in was met with a grip of subtle disappointment as I found the few chapters difficult to read. The over explanation of terms and the conversations which In my head didn’t gel but I kept going. I decided maybe to let go of my expectations and give the book a chance.
Then it began to make sense as to why it was written the way it was. It started to feel like I was making a journey and connections between one’s past and present life. It felt real and distant as same time.
I loved that this book brought out a certain curiosity to know “And what”. It wasn’t written as a typical romance but the romance was raw and felt as real as it could be.
