I adored this as much as I expected, which is a lot. Like everything KJ Charles writes, I got to the end and wanted to go right back to the beginning, because I couldn't bear to let go of the characters. As usual, we have a well observed setting, a collection of damaged heroes and dastardly villains, some delightful secondary characters, a HEA with some peril on the way, and a central couple who learn to deal with their trauma, communicate and work together in and out of bed. A delight from start to finish.
