I decided to complement my Series X in my office/gaming room with an Xbox Series S for the living room, after having a new baby. The Series S became an ideal solution for me to enjoy some gaming while staying close to my little one whenever he conked out on my chest, without the need to move and risk waking him up.

My use of the Series S has been primarily for smaller "indie" games, as I tend to play the bigger AAA titles on the Series X. Despite not pushing it to its limits, the Series S has performed flawlessly for these games. And its compact size and minimalist look make it perfect for a living room setup and doesn't annoy the missus (too much).

Additionally, last Christmas, I bought a Series S for my dad along with a Game Pass subscription. He's been playing non-stop and has nothing but praise for it even with the larger titles.

In conclusion, the Xbox Series S might be the smaller sibling in the Xbox family, but it's a powerhouse for casual gaming. Its performance, coupled with its compact size, makes it an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy a wide range of games without the need for high-end gaming setup.
