Seemed good at first, but after a few weeks of use, the arm sags under the weight of a Kindle, dropping my device into my lap every few minutes and requiring continual repositioning. The clamp loosens over time and I had to often retighten it and it ended up denting my shelf. This would not support the weight of a tablet. Waste of money.
