These earbuds have some nuisance quirks to them. I wouldn't recommend them, but for $30 I probably won't bother returning them either.
Firstly, when you double tap to engage Google Assistant, for a split second the earbuds jump to an extreme (dangerous) volume level that will make your ears bleed. I immediately disabled the assistant command after making this mistake once.
Secondly, I found the volume level to be inexplicably high when used with my PC, and had to reduce the output in Windows to near-zero, meanwhile the microphone was too quiet despite the gain in Windows being set to 100.
Thirdly, the call quality is rubbish.
If you care about mic quality or google assistant, keep looking. (Note: tested with Pixel phone and Windows 10 PC)
