Retinol for Beginners!!
I'm 39 years old and will be turning 40 in the coming months and have normal to oily skin. I've always taken care of my skin ever since I was a teenager, washing and toning my skin and using sunscreen. My routine hasn't changed much except for the fact that I have products with way better ingredients in them. With that said, I have reached the point where I feel I needed to start targeting my fine lines and wrinkles and some melasma from past pregnancies.I have never used any form of vitamin A or retinol on my skin before because I've always felt it would be too harsh. However, Hero Rescue Retinol states that it's an introduction formula and is great for sensitive skin. That definitely eased my mind a bit.So far, I can say I have had no reactions. It goes on very thick and creamy and barely has a scent. It should be applied at nighttime as the last step of your skincare routine. Wearing spf daily is imperative and that's what I have been doing.I can't wait to see results in the coming weeks.I would recommend this to those looking to start out with retinols, especially those with sensitive skin.
