We needed something for a kids outdoor movie area and took a chance on this item. It not only served the purpose we needed but also looked great. We used it over the grass under an open sided tent and put small inflatable pools on it the kids laid in with pillows, blankets and enjoyed their movie snacks while watching a big screen movie. It was perfect. We also live near the beach so we can use it for trips to enjoy the beach. It works for us because it folds up well, is waterproof and you can stake the corners down in the sand or grass to keep it flat if the wind is blowing. We are happy with this purchase.
