Got this game during black friday on the recommendation of my daughter and I've actually really enjoyed it and it remains a family favorite. The mechanics are not too complicated and its easy to explain to others, although it may be easy at first to trip up the explanation on when exactly dukes visit since many newcomers to the game think that it happens as soon as they have the right number of the jewel tokens. But once people get the hang of it, its often a close game and everyone seems to mostly enjoy not thinking too hard about the game and simply enjoy the process of saving up and buying the gems.
As for how the board game looks like, the token themselves seem to be crafted well with a good weight that feels nice to hold, and the illustrations on all the cards are very fun and fitting for its theme.
Overall, a really nice board game that's held up! Very pleased with this purchase and recommend to others looking for another game to include to their collection.
