With my old case I kept dropping my phone out of my pocket and I was worried it would eventually break the screen if this continued to happen. Because it's rubbery this case does add a little extra thickness around the edges of the phone. There us no problem for connecting cables but I have one snap-on external thermal camera that won't snap onto the bottom of the phone any more because this case is a little thicker than the old one and so I have to use the extension cable for it now (or remove the case while I use that camera). Other than that this case is almost perfect. Good protection, good grip, feels good in your hand and looks really good. I feel that my phone is much better protected now with the extra corner protection and better protection all around.
