As a devoted dog owner for 25 years, I've had plenty of experience trimming my dogs' nails at home, and this product has been a lifesaver. It works incredibly fast to stop bleeding from accidentally cutting your pets' nails too close to the quick (hence the name kwik stop). Please note that this product is not suitable for deep cuts or wounds, as it wasn't designed for that purpose. However, it's effective for small cuts and scrapes.

For those of you who want to take care of your pets' nail maintenance at home but are worried about cutting too close, I highly recommend keeping this bottle handy. It's a reliable tool for the job. Plus, a little bit of kwik stop powder goes a long way, and it even contains a mild pain reducer, which gives you peace of mind that your dog's toe won't be causing them any discomfort.

A helpful tip I can share is to place a small amount of kwik stop powder in the lid. Then, take a cotton swab (the kind used for cleaning ears, not a cotton ball) and dampen it with cold water. Roll the cotton swab in the powder. This way, if you accidentally make the nail bleed, you can easily apply the cotton swab with the powder to the nail, making the process less messy and more manageable. Alternatively, you can store the kwik stop powder in the lid and dip the nail into it, but be cautious, as the packaging lid may sometimes come off, leading to spills. Good luck! It's worth noting that the packaging lid could be improved to prevent such spills.
