I like they are small and have a charging case. I wish the ear buds were more like the LG Pro. Those ear buds never fall out except maybe when sleeping with them in but not usually. IF one bud was to fall out, they’re wired to the headset so no worries in them falling into places you absolutely would not want one to fall. I drive for work and also fly regularly. I’ve had the AirPods fall out when driving and it never fails the fall into a place you cannot retrieve while driving. I saw a guy on one flight that has to CRAWL 4 or 5 rows while deplaning to find his. I fell asleep in the front seat of a transport van taking me to a job and when I woke up both pods were gone. One was found under the second row and one was very hard to find as it fell into the door pocket. I’ve tried all the various sizes of buds it came with.
The other main issue is battery life. They die so fast. I’m used to being able to drive 12 hours listening to music or books on my LG pro. The AirPods die even if I’m not listening to anything. Sometimes I have a long phone call and have to only use one pod at a time. When one dies I put it in the case and switch to the other. That’s ok for phone calls but not with music so I don’t use them for music at all which was the main reason I bought them. My wife let me listen to her and the quality was much better than my LG. Turns out I can’t use them for music at all. Recently the problem was that one pod died and got lost. Using find my is only good IF I could pair my case which will no longer pair. No idea why but I’ve tried everything. The only info online is to hard reset. Didn’t work. Restart phone etc etc. So now I can’t use the one pod at all. I’ve had my LG headset for years. It sucks now on phone calls. Other person can’t hear me clearly. So I only use the AirPods for calls then switch back to LG for everything else. Like I said, on long calls I just switch back and forth as each pod dies. The LG pro cost $75 and the AirPods nearly $200.
