The frames are cheaply made but you wouldn’t be able to tell that unless it broke. Mine arrived broken even though the box was fine and the frame was still in its seal. So I would say it’s still a pretty good value for money but it is essentially made of cardboard. I would be too scared to gift it because of the quality and likelihood of arriving broken.

That being said I like them having arranged a selection and layout for you so it’s convenient. The color is also pretty nice. My biggest problem is that a lot of the frames are non standard. 6x8 is no longer a standard sizing. Shutterfly and cvs and Costco photo center all don’t have it anymore. So I have to order 8x8 and then cut it myself. This is a hassle and even costs more since 8x8 is a larger print. For example an 8x8 print is essentially $4 each. But I have to cut it down to 6x8. But a 5x7 is not much smaller and a 5x7 print is only $1. It’s not a huge deal if you’re only printing once but if you’re looking to periodically update your photo wall, then having to print a bunch of $4 prints will quickly add up. They really should look into providing a matte inside the 6x8 to become a 5x7.
