Installed these in our garage to mount our bikes on the wall. They're holding up well. Haven't heard the bike crash down below. As others have mentioned, I used a small plywood plank to screw this on the wall stud of our garage for reinforcement and additional anchor. I also didn't use the screws that were provided. Instead, I used stronger and longer screws made for wall studs. Of course, make sure you are actually screwing this on a wall stud and use a stud finder. Wall-mounted bikes create more space and room in your garage. It also makes your garage neater. It did for ours.
