Finally a cheese slicer where he wire is strong, stays in place and easy to adjust. I have gone through I don't know how many slicers and they all failed. The drums corroded, the tightening mechanism failed, the wires bent when slicing anything other than some mythical "Medium soft/hard" cheese. None of those with this one. It is a pleasure to use.
