I tried using this on the right shoulder strap of an Osprey Talon 44 backpack and couldn't find a comfortable position. The Capture Camera Clip either bumped into my arm or irritated my collarbone. The Osprey Talon series has a sunglass holder on the left shoulder strap so I installed on the right strap. Peak Design recommends installing on the left shoulder strap, but it's not possible with this backpack. My guess is that the Capture Camera Clip works only on the left shoulder strap and in a spot that's just below the collarbone but above where your arm rubs against the backpack strap when moving. I'm returning this and getting the Universal Bar Mount by Peak Design. Maybe that will be comfortable enough to use with my phone. I think Peak Design needs to offer a Capture Clip that can be used on right shoulder straps. The current design is not universal and is not advertised as being solely used for the left shoulder strap. The push button release digs into the arm if used on the right shoulder strap. Boo!
