My cat HATES having her feet touched much less her nails trimmed which is why for nearly 12 years, I've had the vet do it and even when they do it, we have to pre-medicate her before taking her to the vet due to fear-based aggression. I read somewhere that brushing and/or petting while touching the feet and claws help reduce that anxiety (I'm not sure for who more, me or my cat) but she actually allowed me to press the pad of her feed to splay out her nails and let me cut one foot at a time before running away. 4 attempts later and her nails are the better for it. I'm super happy with how easily it cuts. Having had dogs ages ago, I recall how cutting nails back then with the loop-style nail cutters were often not as sharp and needed and getting some inaccurate cuts and or damage to the quick. Not so with this clipper. Happy I picked it up, especially at this price, considering I was also looking at clipper's 3x the cost.
