I purchased this particular pattern because the measurements in the photo showed it was larger than the others, it is not. There is also no way you could fit a drink in the outside holder unless it is a very small one! It is definitely not a thin lightweight/packable fabric that I was looking for to use on an upcoming trip. However, it is a nice sturdy bag and seems like it will last a while, it is just way too small.
