This is a good idea in theory. The silicone lid attracts lint, hair and dust. It also slips off easily in my bag. I would prefer a screw on lid made of plastic that doesn't 1. attract lint/hair and dust 2. come off easily. Also, this is huge and bulky in my bag. I would rather just pack my original Aeropress and my favorite travel mug. If you are counting ounces in your backpack or in your travel bag don't bother with this. It is huge, heavy and attracts lint.
